Professor Linda Woodhead
Linda Woodhead is Director of the AHRC/ESRC Religion and Society Programme, which runs from 2007-2012.
She is based at Lancaster University, where she has been Professor of Sociology of Religion since 2006.
Her research involves theoretical and empirical exploration of religion, with a particular focus on religion in contemporary western societies.
