Teaching

My commitment to teaching is reflected in the award of the university’s Pilkington Prize for outstanding teaching.

I teach in the areas of Sociology of Religion, Christianity, New Spiritualities, Method and the Study of Religion.

During my term as Director of the Religion and Society Programme (until 2012) I will have a reduced teaching load, and will only be able to supervise a few PhD students. If you are interested in supervision,
